Andronica String Trio

Andronica String Trio will perform recent works by female composers. The program will include music by Pulitzer Prize-winning Jennifer Higdon, award-winning Libby Larson. The trio will also perform a newly commissioned piece by local composer Julie Barwick.
Michèle Walther
Violin and looper

Michèle Walther will play original compositions for violin and live looping/electronics. Michèle’s compositions are an eclectic mix of jazz, minimal and world music. Her pieces are innovative, soulful, and energetic  – in short: a unique experience of heartfelt music, sometimes sweet, sometimes sour.

Guitar Duo

One Great City Duo will play music written for them by two outstanding young composers, Shahab Paranj and Eric Choate, as well as music from their mentor Sergio Assad. They will also play unique transcriptions of Ned Rorem, Samuel Barber, Cole Porter, and Pat Metheny that are featured on their debut album, titled Excursions.

Flute and Contrabassoon

Split concert with flutist Meerenai Shim and bassoonist Kris King. They will present an enthralling set of works and have even commissioned a piece for contrabass flute and contraforte from local composer Joseph Colombo for this concert!

Amaranth String Quartet

​​Amaranth Quartet is thrilled to present an evening exploring composers' first string quartets!  In addition to performing quartets by W. A. Mozart, Leos Janacek, and Claude Debussy, Amaranth Quartet will premiere Haley Shaw's first string quartet written this year.
